Based on their rankings, The Montgomerie Maxx Royal, with an average rating of 8,44, has been voted 'best golf club overall' in Turkey in the Golfers' Choice Rankings. The rankings for best golf club are compiled based on numerous aspects influencing the quality of the golf club, such as the golf course itself, the overall impression of the club, maintenance, facilities such as practice facilities, clubhouse and the perceived value for money.

The Montgomerie Maxx Royal is located in the Belek region of Turkey, 30 km to the east of Antalya on the Turkish Mediterranean coast. The golf course is set within 104 hectares of picturesque, mixed pine forest and sandy ridges. The feel of the natural environment has been maintained, thereby enhancing the particular characteristics of the golf course. The course meanders through a pine forrest and water comes into play at several holes because of eight lakes that are layed out around the course. The Montgomerie Maxx Royal has been host to the Turkish Airlines Open since the start of the tournament in 2013.

The Montgomerie Maxx Royal took the first place from Antalya Golf Club, who are now sixth in the rankings. Kuşadasi International Golf maintain their second place in the rankings of best golf club. Situated on the Aegean coast of Turkey, this club with stunning views of the Samos Island and the Aegean Sea is rated with a rating of 8,40. Carya Golf Club, also located in Belek, makes a move from 5th place, into the top-3 of best golf clubs in the country. Carya Golf Club will be hosting this years Turkish Airlines Open.

LykiaLinks Antalya has the best golf course

Kuşadası International Golf offers great value for money
If you are price conscious golfer, then Kuşadası International Golf is a great choice. With a greenfee of € 60 it offers great value for money. If only the price-quality ratio is taken into account, then Kuşadası International Golf scores an 8,27 and leads the Best Price / Quality rankings. Runner-up in the rankings is Sueno Golf Club in Belek. With a greenfee of € 110,- it's not cheap to play at Sueno Golf Club, but according to golfers the money is worth it and they rate the price/quality with an 8,06. Titanic Golf Club is third with a 7,85.

When it comes to hospitality, Kuşadası International Golf does a terrific job. They score an 8,88. Runner-up is Sueno Golf Club with an 8,46 and The Montgomerie Maxx Royal completes the top-3 with an 8,12.
